Any folder or filesystem selected in Start->Places, brings up libreoffice which then would say it could not open up the program.....Obviously. I thought that by uninstalling libreoffice, the file manager would go back to normal, but then it started complaining: Failed to execute default File Manager Failed to execute child process "/usr/bin/oocalc" (No such file or directory).
I found the file ~/.config/xfce4/helpers.rc, which had the contents: FileManager=custom-FileManagerI changed the contents to: FileManager=nautilusand now Places works properly. No idea how it got set to libreoffice in the first place! Last changed: Feb 27 2020 at 4:03 PM Back |
