How do I access the rest of my home directory via the IMAP server, right now I can only access the subfolder ~/mail?

The IMAP server is configured by default to only show you the files that appear under the subfolder ~/mail by default. This is so that when your client connects to the IMAP server, it will not download a listing of your entire directory (which could take considerable time for the average user). To restore the old functionality of viewing your entire directory, you must specify the mail server root directory in your client. This setting appears under the advanced IMAP properties in most versions of netscape and the IMAP tab for Outlook. If you wish to access your home directory, specify the complete path for your home directory in this field. Ex: member tomjones IMAP Root Directory: /home/member/tomjones
