IAS Email

Our recommendation is to utilize IAS Webmail as much as possible as it is rich in features and offerings and is accessible from any computer or device around the world connected to the Internet and that has a web browser installed. The online documentation for using IAS Webmail can be found here.

  • Username: This is the portion of your IAS email address before the @ sign. For example, if your IAS email address is jdoe@ias.edu, your IAS username is jdoe.
  • Email address: your IAS email address (e.g. jdoe@ias.edu)
  • Password: your IAS password
  • Use SSL or secure connection: selected
  • IMAP or Incoming Server: mail.ias.edu
  • IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)
  • SMTP or Outgoing Server: smtpauth.ias.edu
  • SMTP Port: 587 (TLS)
