About 8 months ago, our HP9100C gave this error:
I tried many things to salvage the data, including freezing it, but nothing seemed to work. I came across this forum: 9100C hard drive and someone was looking for an image of the hard drive, but no one had it at the time. I was reluctant to give get rid of the machine since the only thing wrong with it was the hard drive, so I kept it around. Today, I checked the thread and someone posted the image. Here is the location of the hard drive image: Instructions as well as the Manuals are available as well. UPDATE: You can download the image at: http://rapidshare.com/files/349182016/9100C_Image_1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/349185459/9100C_Image_2.rar Image 1 will Extract to a 3 Gig .img File and Image 2 will extract to an 40 Gigabyte Image File. Which extracted the image New9100C.img Connected a new hard drive. First, I wiped a 40GB hard drive. Then I connected it to my machine via USB external hard drive enclosure.
