Workshop on Symplectic Dynamics II

Monday, March 12, 2012 - 09:00 to Friday, March 16, 2012 - 12:00
2011-2012

March 12-16, 2012

This workshop is part of the topical program "Symplectic Dynamics" which will take place during the academic year 2011-2012 at the Institute for Advanced Study.  The workshop will focus on fluid dynamics and infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian systems and intends to foster interactions between mathematicians working in dynamical systems and symplectic geometers.  This seems timely in view of the significant advances in both fields and very promising results at the interface between both fields.

Organizers:

The workshop is organized by Helmut Hofer, IAS and John Mather, Princeton University/IAS

Invited Participants:

Claude Bardos, Yann Brenier, Massimiliano Berti, Emanuele Caglioti, Roberto Camasa, Dongho Chae,
