Although there is no registration fee, because SEATING IS LIMITED BOTH IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM AND IN OUR DINING HALL, you are urged to register if you wish to attend all or part of the conference. In addition, in order for our chef to prepare enough food, we need to have a headcount for the meals.

The cost for lunch on Friday and Saturday at the Institute will be $4.50 per person per meal. Vegetarian lunches will be available. Lunch tickets will be required in the dining hall and may be purchased prior to the beginning of the conference each morning. HOWEVER, unless you have registered for the conference and meals by the deadline dates (see below), you will not be eligible to purchase lunch tickets.

Conference participants may wish to sign up for the DINNER on Friday evening, January 8, which will be held in the Institute's dining hall. The cost of the dinner will be $30.00 and in order to confirm your reservation, we must receive your CHECK OR MONEY ORDER made out to the Institute for Advanced Study no later than the end of the day on Monday, January 4. Registration is simple and quick. We ask that you e-mail the appropriate information to one of the addresses below by the deadline date indicated. Please let us know:

1. Your name and institutional affiliation,
2. If you DO NOT WISH TO EAT lunch at the Institute, which day or days you plan to attend the conference--tell us no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, JANUARY 6,
3. If you would like to EAT LUNCH at the Institute, which day or days--tell us no later than MONDAY, JANUARY 4,
4. If you wish to attend the dinner Friday evening--tell us, and send in your payment to be received no later than MONDAY, JANUARY 4,
5. If you register for the DINNER ON FRIDAY EVENING, whether you wish vegetarian fare--tell us no later than MONDAY, JANUARY 4.

Because housing space at the Institute is limited, we are unable to offer accommodations to conference participants. However, a listing of hotels and motels in the Princeton area may be found by referring to the following website:
